Halcyon colours that connect to childhoods : 70s’ fonts and Victorian script ; papers smoothed and stroked and aged by touching – physical, analogue and intimate.
There’s very little waste in the process as I use the smaller pieces to make the PropArt boxes – so called as I prop them up on shelves, doorways and atop frames.
The pieces explore memory, transformation and the quiet beauty of imperfection and noticing the often overlooked
